Why We Built This Site
New Mexico provides public access to many court records, but the right source depends on the court and the record sought. A docket is the running register of filings, events, and settings in a case. The Clerk of the Court maintains the district record, while the Thirteenth Judicial District Court, Cibola Magistrate Court, and the separate Grants and Milan municipal courts keep different case systems. Case Lookup is the no-registration statewide index; registered re:SearchNM can offer broader access. Sorting those routes matters before a person seeks a hearing date, register entry, or copy.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: routes for criminal dockets and civil dockets in Cibola County
- Dates and settings: ways to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing with the court
- Case lookup: name and case-number searching through Case Lookup and re:SearchNM
- Record requests: how to seek court records, including copies that must come from the Clerk of the Court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource, with no affiliation to a New Mexico court, clerk, or state agency. Its role is limited:
- It cannot obtain an official docket sheet or case file for a visitor
- It cannot set, move, or confirm a hearing date
- It cannot seal, change, or remove a court case
- It cannot issue a certified copy of a docket, order, or other court document
- It cannot provide legal advice about a pending matter
- It cannot guarantee that a published phone number, fee, or setting remains current
Only the court that holds the case or its clerk can issue an official or certified copy. For Cibola district matters, that route is the Clerk of the Court at the Thirteenth Judicial District Court in Grants.
Search Partners
Some pages contain tools run by outside providers, which control their own service terms and pricing. A paid enrollment reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. Those providers, not Cibola County Court Docket, control their results and charges. Official New Mexico court access remains separate: Case Lookup and re:SearchNM are public-access tools, while Tyler eFile & Serve is a filing and service system rather than a public docket-reading service.
