Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. That provider processes the query and supplies any result. Cibola County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
Messages sent by email are retained to handle the communication. They remain within the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, technical information associated with the visit may be collected:
- The IP address associated with the device
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is provided
- Dates and times of page views
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They help measure aggregate use, such as traffic to particular pages and general navigation patterns. Analytics providers may assist with that measurement. Browser settings can block cookies, although some features may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating and maintaining the resource
- Directing submitted searches to the applicable partner service
- Assessing overall page use and performance
- Diagnosing technical problems
- Delivering advertising that may be interest-based
No Court-Record Data on File
Cibola County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It publishes general routing information for the Clerk of the Court, the Thirteenth Judicial District Court, and New Mexico access tools such as Case Lookup and re:SearchNM. The resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party files.
Public access to New Mexico court records is governed by Rule 1-079 NMRA and the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978, §§14-2-1 through 14-2-12. Those authorities govern court-record access, not this resource’s visitor data, and do not make sealed, protected, or expunged material available.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes on this resource. Information entered there is handled under the provider’s own privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules, which this resource does not control. Review the provider’s policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Clerk of the Court pages, trial-court resources, Case Lookup, re:SearchNM, Tyler eFile & Serve, or third-party tools. Once a visitor leaves this resource, the destination’s privacy policy governs the visit and any information submitted there.
Some advertising partners may track activity across websites to provide interest-based advertising. That tracking occurs through their systems, not through records held by this resource.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Information may be processed by:
- Search partners processing a submitted query
- Analytics providers measuring traffic and performance
- Advertising networks serving advertisements on the resource
- Government bodies or law enforcement when a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. No internet-connected service can guarantee complete security, so a breach-free system cannot be promised.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If such information is identified, it will be removed.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where a visitor lives, privacy or consumer-protection law may provide additional data rights. New Mexico’s court-record access framework, including the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978, §§14-2-1 through 14-2-12, concerns records held by the judiciary and should be directed to the appropriate court custodian. For information this resource holds about a visitor, the following requests may be made:
- Request a copy of information held about you
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Request deletion of applicable information
- Decline certain forms of data processing where available
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. A revised version will appear on this page with an updated effective date.
